Beautiful day for a beautiful shoot!

Pinch me! I'm serious. How was I so lucky to be able to shoot a part of one of the most iconic locations in Colorado? One of our clients was part of the remodel of the Caretaker's Cottage at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. While I didn't capture anything supernatural in my pictures yesterday, I did capture some images of some truly amazing millwork!

This client's handiwork is showcased throughout the cottage with tongue and groove ceilings and crown molding, custom archway, built in credenza, book shelves with showcase lighting, and so much more. He also created a railing to mimic the one located in the hotel lobby! The most memorable for those who have seen "The Shining" will be the bathroom which is almost identical to the one in room 237 from the movie. Take a look at some of his work below!

From the first picture above of Rocky Mountain National Park from the parking lot of The Stanley Hotel, it was really hard not to drive through the park when I finished taking photos of the cottage as it was such a beautiful day, but the pull to complete the post processing was greater. The images above are just an example of why!

Given how much I enjoyed this shoot, anyone who schedules their free consultation with me by Friday, March 17th, 2023, will receive $100 off their next photo shoot! You can schedule your free consultation by clicking here.

See you soon!

Mandy
